Wikileaks co-founder  was on Thursday arrested at the Ecuadorian embassy in London shortly after Ecuador dropped his asylum status, effectively terminating his stay at their embassy. Asange now faces possible extradition to U.S to face charges.

Assange,47, had been holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London since 2012 to avoid extradition to Sweden over a sexual assault case that has since been dropped, and possible extradition to the U.S. for publishing thousands of classified U.S military and diplomatic cables through WikiLeaks.

Video captured by Russian news agency Ruptly shows the moment police was removing him from the embassy in handcuffs. As can be seen in the video, Asange’s hair appear to have grown significantly longer and whiter since his last public appearance, and he now has a long grey beard.
