Nipsey Hussle’s sister, Samantha Smith, and his brother Blacc Sam, were in court for a child custody hearing with Tanisha Foster, the babymama. Since the death of Nipsey Hussle in March, his 10-year-old daughter, Emani Asghedom, has been living with Samantha Smith.
Nipsey Hussle’s sister has been battling to retain custody of the child, but on Monday night, a judge ruled that Emani can remain in the custody of his sister, Samantha, according to TMZ. The hearing was sealed, but another date is scheduled for July.
Tanisha’s lawyer, Larry Lewellyn, reportedly told them that he’s working with Nipsey’s family on a visitation schedule that will be in Emani’s best interest, TMZ reports.
Nipsey’s family believes the babymama,Tanisha Foster, is unfit to care for Emani.
Before Nipsey’s death, his sister Samantha helped in caring for Emani, so Nipsey’s family said they want “to ensure the continued stability for the girl and ensure that she will be able to maintain her current and ongoing relationship” with her dad’s family.
Meanwhile, Tanisha Foster is currently wanted after failing to appear in court on a DUI case in Los Angeles. Read more through this link
