A South African man has been arrested for eating at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) free for an entire year.

The 27-year-old student of University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) reportedly told KFC employees each time he goes for food that he was sent from the headquarters for quality assurance.

It was said that the student, whose identity has not yet been revealed, was so convincing that it took the KFC employees more than a year to realize that they were being fooled. The con man had a name card from “head office”, always well dressed and arrived in a limo during each visit.

According to reports, his friend who is a part-time limo driver was also an accomplice.

“When he arrived we will all try to act our best so that we don’t piss off man from head office, he was so convincing because he was so confident and even colleagues from other KFC’s know him”

“When he comes in he rushed to the kitchen and check everything taking notes and then ask for samples of whatever he wants. He probably worked for KFC before because he knows everything.”

The news was originally shared by Kenyan journalist, Teddy Eugene on his official Twitter account.

We definitely have no idea about how the young man managed to fool the employees for that long.
