Pakistani man buys land on the moon as wedding gift for his wife

A Pakistani man, impressed by late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has purchased an acre of land on the moon as a wedding gift for his wife, timesnownews and are reporting.

Sohaib Ahmed, a resident of Rawalpindi, reportedly purchased the lunar land in the area referred to as ‘Sea of Vapour’ for $45 from the International Lunar Lands Registry.

The couple have been despatched the paperwork of the land on the moon at their house by way of US Postal Service.

It is unclear how he intends to go to the moon with his wife to dwell in the new property.

According to the Lunar Settlement Initiative’s web site, “under the terms of the LSI, property claims on Luna may be offered to private entities to finance the exploration, settlement, and development of the Moon and its resources.”

It additional states that “upon the recognition and certification of land claims, property owners shall be entitled to inhabit and develop their property in any manner, subject to any laws or statutes that may be established by the sovereign and independent government of Luna, which shall be freely elected by its citizens.”

Ahmed stated that he was impressed by late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput to purchase his personal piece of land on the moon. In 2018. Sushant reportedly purchased a chunk of land in the area of Mare Muscoviense, or the ‘Sea of Muscovy’ via the International Lunar Lands Registry.


His wife, Madiha stated that her buddies didn’t consider her when she informed them about the surprising wedding gift she received from her husband.

 “At first everyone thought it was a joke, but then I showed them the documents and then they believed it,” she informed Samaa TV. She added that one among her buddies additionally needs her fiancé to gift her a plot of land on the moon for their wedding.
