A TikToker with 17,200 followers who recently went viral after posting a private FaceTime call she had with Hollywood actor Matthew Perry, has been booted from the elite dating app.

Kate Haralson had shared the shocking and ‘uncomfortable’ experience she had with the Canadian American actor when they connected on the celeb dating app Raya in around May 2020 when Perry had briefly broken up with his present fiancée Molly Hurwitz.

According to Meaww, the multi-millionaire actor had been in a relationship with Hurwitz since 2018 and the pair got engaged in November 2020. However, they split for a while in May 2020, which is when the alleged incident with Haralson happened.

Haralson, who was 19 years old at the time, had matched with 51-year-old Perry through the membership-specific dating service. But she has now been kicked off the dating app after posting the private FaceTime call with the Chandler Bing actor.

“I should have expected that would happen,” Kate Haralson who is now 20 years, told PageSix. “I feel fine about it. I never really used it anymore anyways.”

Haralson said she had released the FaceTime video to expose how older men in Hollywood are “taking advantage” of younger women on dating apps.

“A lot of people were saying I’m a bully and mean for posting this, and it made me feel kind of bad, but at the same time, I feel like a lot of guys in Hollywood are talking to all these young girls and it’s something that I think a lot of people should be aware of,” the young TikToker told Page Six in an Exclusive interview on Thursday.

The Los Angeles-based personal assistant said she had matched with other celebrities before, but claims she doesn’t “ever talk to older guys.” But with Perry, she felt it would be ‘funny’ to talk to him. During the conversation, Perry allegedly asked her, “Am I as old as your dad?,” according to the report.

The dating app has not made any statement yet over the incident, but the “Removal of a Member” section of the app states, “Every member is expected to follow our simple rules of respect, trust, and privacy. There are plenty of places across the internet where an expectation of behavioral standards and respect for other users isn’t required.”
