Several workers of Heritage Bank Plc in Nigeria have accused Andy Uba, a Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District within the Senate, of accumulating big loans from the bank and refusing to pay again.
A video, which has since gone viral, reveals over 20 workers of the bank each women and men in branded T-shirts and Jean trousers in entrance Of the senator’s home, protesting with placards in hand.
A voice in the video stated they have been employees members of Heritage Bank and have been at Senator Uba’s residence in Abuja to put strain on him to pay again his loans after a number of efforts had failed.
They stated they felt compelled to take the motion as a result of their jobs are at stake, including that they might lose their jobs if the loans will not be repaid.
The voice stated: “Good morning, girls and gents. Today is Monday, the twenty first day of June 2021, and we’ve got right here the employees of Heritage Bank PlC, Abuja. We are in entrance of Senator Andy Uba’s home in Abuja.
