Akada Children’s Book Festival Holds 4th Edition In Lagos Today

A youngsters’s guide competition holds in Lagos right now and is aimed toward boosting the studying tradition amongst youngsters.

The guide competition which is hosted by Clever Clogs Books is themed ‘Together Again’ and is the fourth version of the Akada youngsters’s guide competition.

According to the convener of the competition, Olubunmi Aboderin Talabi, the occasion will comprise of guide studying, arts, and crafts, a enjoyable exhibition, a pop-up library, a dramatization model of a youngsters’s guide, and workshops for kids, dad and mom, and professionals within the writing discipline.

Speaking in a media transient,  Talabi mentioned, “Akada Children’s Book Festival is the showcase of kids’s books written by African authors or books world wide written for various youngsters. The gathering was first held in 2019.

“The 2022 edition will feature author-led book reading, book chats, professional workshops for illustrators and insightful sessions for parents and teachers.”

She additionally added that three winners from a  competitors for kids below 16 will probably be unveiled from Its Writing & Illustration Competition that had greater than 130 submissions for the writing competitors and virtually 50 submissions for the illustration competitors.
