Egyptian Mohamed Maarouf Eid Mansour has been appointed centre-referee for the CAF Confederation Cup playoff, first leg conflict between Rivers United and Libya’s Al Nasr.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) made the announcement on Thursday.
The encounter is billed for the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, subsequent weekend.
Eid Mansour, 35, might be assisted by his compatriot, Mohammed Abouzid Halhal ( assistant referee one) and Ahmed Hossam Eldin (assistant referee two). Mohammed Adel Said will function the fourth official.
Sierra Leone’s Prince Kai Saquee will function match commissioner, whereas Gambia’s Mendy John would be the referee’s assessor. Ozi Salami will work as Covid-19 officer.
