Ekiti Gov, Oyebanji pays condolence visit to late speaker Afuye’s family

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on Saturday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Funminiyi Afuye in Lagos.

Governor Oyebanji was obtained by the widow, Mrs Titilayo Omolara Afuye.

The Governor, who famous that the Deputy Governor, Chief ( Mrs) Monisade Afuye, had visited the family on behalf of the federal government instantly after the unlucky incident, recalled nice recollections of the late Speaker, particularly the deceased’s sterling management qualities, dedication to democratic values and his amiable persona.

He pledged the federal government’s assist to the family, including that the state authorities would immortalise the late Speaker.

“This is a large loss to the Government and folks of Ekiti State. We really feel your pains, and we pray the Good Lord will heal the wound and console you and all the family.

” As authorities, we will assist the family in everyway attainable and we will immortalise him. That is likely one of the methods we are able to present our appreciation for the standard and selfless service Hon Afuye rendered to our pricey state,” the Governor mentioned.
