EPL: I’ll not stop – Man Utd’s Antony responds to criticism over his showboating

Listen to this article

Manchester United winger, Antony, has vowed to proceed showcasing his experience after he was criticised for showboating all through Manchester United’s Europa League 3-0 win over FC Sheriff on Thursday night time.

Man United defeated Sheriff at Old Trafford thanks to targets from Diogo Dalot, Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo.

But with the ranking at 0-0, Antony tried to excite the home followers with his trademark pirouette, although the Brazilian then went on to overhit a cross which went out of play.

Antony was slammed by the likes of Paul Scholes and Robbie Savage, who described the switch as ’embarrassing’ all through his match commentary for BT Sport.

However, Antony has now insisted that he would not stop doing his experience.

He posted a picture of the incident on his Instagram story with the message: “We are known for our art and I will not stop doing what has brought me to where I am!”
