Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has labelled Antony “ridiculous” for a spinning dribble that went nowhere, all through their Europa League in direction of Sheriff on Thursday.

With no one spherical him, Antony spun in a circle, drawing murmurs from the group.

But his subsequent transfer out of play prompted a shake of the head from supervisor Erik ten Hag, who took him off at half-time.

Scholes, speaking on BT Sport, acknowledged: “I don’t know what he’s doing.

“It’s ridiculous. It’s showboating.”

Diogo Dalot opened the scoring inside the first half, sooner than Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo added further targets after the break.

United have now licensed from Group E, as a result of the win took them to 12 components.
