Oyo: Olomi road now death trap – Reps member, Akande-Sadipe raises alarm

A member of the House of Representatives, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, has mentioned that Olomi road in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, has develop into a death trap.

Akande-Sadipe, who represents Oluyole Federal Constituency, mentioned that lots of her constituents are shedding their lives on the road each day.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker made these disclosures on Saturday in Ibadan.

The lawmaker, who mentioned she had met the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, over the matter, insisted that the Olomi/Olojuoro and Liberty Academy roads inside her constituency are in deplorable states.

She defined that that is affecting the economic system of the residents negatively.

Akande-Sadipe mentioned, “After back-to-back intervention and calling out of contractors, we haven’t seen any enchancment as inaction continues so as to add to the sufferings of my folks.

“This road, I imply Olomi Olojoro road has been listed within the price range yearly way back to 2018, however up till this second, we can not proceed to bear the struggling, we want an pressing intervention.
