Tears as former police spokesman is buried in Rivers

The stays of the former spokesman of the Rivers State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni, have been laid to relaxation.

Omoni was buried on Saturday in his hometown of Rundele neighborhood in the Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The former Police Public Relations Officer died a number of days after celebrating his 54th birthday in August.

A valedictorian courtroom session was held on Thursday in honour of the late lawyer organized by Rivers State judiciary.

Dignitaries, together with members of the Rivers State Council of the Nigeria Union Journalists, had been current on the burial.

Until his demise, Omoni was the Divisional Police Officer of Elimgbu police station in Obio Akpor Local Government Area.
