Barcelona president, Joan Laporta, has reacted to his workforce’s elimination from the UEFA Champions League this season.
Barcelona had been eradicated from the Champions League after shedding 3-0 to Bayern Munich at Camp Nou on Wednesday.
The Catalan membership had been praying for a miracle that might see Viktoria Plzen defeat Inter Milan to give them a lifeline within the Champions League.
However, Inter ended up thrashing Plzen and condemned Xavi Hernandez’s males to one other European elimination.
Reacting, Laporta mentioned that it was a shame to see Barca crash out of the match by shedding 3-0 to Bayern in Spain.
“It’s a shame, but you can’t blame the players or the coach for anything,” Laporta advised Barca TV.
“We have to look forward because we have La Liga and other competitions left.”
Barcelona will now have yet another inconsequential recreation to play in opposition to Viktoria Plzen in November earlier than heading to the Europa League.
