The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Toyin Amuzu, has reacted to the judgment of the Appeal Court sitting in Ibadan which reinstated all of the candidates of the PDP in Ogun State. Amuzu stated the judgment which returned him and others again to the poll is a victory for democracy.
Amuzu thanked the individuals of the state for “their steadfastness and solidarity with the PDP” since September 27 when an Abeokuta Federal High Court sacked all PDP candidates.
The candidate stated the judiciary, being the final hope of the individuals, has restored confidence that the nation could be nice once more, saying “hope is on the way for better governance in Ogun State.”
He famous that the judgement was gained on advantage, expressing pleasure that the appellate court has affirmed that solely a National physique of the celebration can nominate and conduct a main election for the celebration.
“Those trying to work to destabilize the PDP for the ruling party are only wasting their time as the electoral act was clear on the process.”
Chief Amuzu, who assured the Ogun people who hope is on the way in which, stated the PDP with its years of expertise in governance would enhance the lives of the citizenry and restore their hope.
“The people are tired of insecurity, poverty, economic doldrums and joblessness among others as forced on them by the mismanagement and maladministration of the ruling APC,” he acknowledged.
