At the current gubernatorial and state assembly elections in Daura, Katsina State, President Muhammadu Buhari has cast his ballot.

 

At Daura’s Sarkin Yarn A ward, Kofar Baru Gidan Niyan, Buhari cast his vote.

 

On May 29, 2015, the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform saw Buhari take the oath of office as president. In 2019, he was re-elected after winning his reelection campaign, beating his closest competitor Atiku Abubakar by more over 3 million votes.

 

The president’s tenure expires on Monday, May 29.

 

Bola Tinubu, the party’s nominee for president, will succeed Buhari as the nation’s next leader.

 

On Saturday, February 25, Tinubu won the election for president. On May 29, he will take office.

 

The winner received 8,794,726 votes, defeating rivals Atiku of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who received 6,984,520 votes, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, who received 6,101,533 votes.
