Oyo Gov. Makinde wins in Folarin, Adelabu’s polling units

The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has defeated the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Teslim Folarin at his polling unit at Idi Ose, Ona Ara Local Government of the state.

The Governor secured 196 votes while Folarin polled 89 votes. Adelabu of Accord Party had 6 votes.

The Governor won in his polling unit — Ward 11, Unit 01, Abayomi Iwo-Road in Ibadan North East Local Government Area.

He had 174 votes while the Folarin secured 28 votes, Accord Party polled 5, and Labour Party had 3 votes. 4 votes were voided.

The PDP had 160 votes, APC garnered 30, Accord secured 9 votes, and the Labour Party (LP), got 5 votes. 9 votes were voided in the state assembly election.

Makinde also secured a win at the polling unit of Adelabu.
