The top six positions in the Premier League have been confirmed.

Manchester City emerged champions for a third consecutive season, following Arsenal’s 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

The Gunners will finish in second place behind City, despite leading the table for 248 days.

Manchester United moved into third place after a 4-1 victory over Chelsea on Thursday. The Red Devils now have 72 points, one more than fourth-placed Newcastle United.

All the four clubs will play in the UEFA Champions League next season.

Liverpool and Brighton will finish in fifth and sixth positions no matter the results on the final day of the campaign.

This means they both qualify for the Europa League.
