DONALD Trump sticks to his guns — as he holds a Glock with his image on the handle.
The former President posed with the weapon, which was named Trump 45.
His spokesman said in a now-deleted tweet that Trump bought the semi-automatic, even though this would be a crime because federal law bars people under indictment from buying a gun.
The former Apprentice US host, who is running for President again, has pleaded not guilty to 91 felony charges across four cases.
In the video of the campaign stop at Palmetto State Armory, South Carolina, Trump admires the handgun and says: “Wow… I’ve got to buy one.”
The person holding the gun gives a brief response, and Trump says again, “No, I want to buy one.”
Trump’s campaign said later: “President Trump did not purchase or take possession of the firearm.”
