The Nigeria Super Eagles struggled to earn a 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe in the FIFA World Cup qualifying match played in Zimbabwe on Sunday afternoon.
The encounter saw the Eagles come from a goal down to draw in the second game running following the 1-1 scoreline with Lesotho on matchday one.
Zimbabwe opened the scoring in the 26th minute through a brilliant long range free-kick from Walter Musona. In the 65th minute Iheanacho drew the Eagles level as he finished off an assist from Moses Simon.
After two rounds of games played, the Eagles are second on two points. The next game in the qualifiers for the Eagles will be a home game against South Africa on 2nd June 2024.
