VeryDarkMan, others react to Bobrisky’s arrest

The arrest and detention of popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has continued to generate reactions from Nigerians.

Recall that the crossdresser was arrested late Wednesday by the anti-graft agency over abuse of the naira, spraying of naira notes and currency mutilation.

Bobrisky, who has been embroiled in several controversies over the past weeks, is presently trending because of the arrest with many Nigerians asking the question of which gender the crossdresser will claim if his detention lingers.

However, one of his arch-antagonists and social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has made a video to mock the self-acclaimed Mommy of Lagos.

VeryDarkMan in the 2:21 minutes video made a mockery of Bobrisky, portraying him as a confused suspect who might complicate issues for officers of the EFCC who might find it difficult to decide his gender.

In the video, VeryDarkMan acted as a police officer and also mimicked Bobrisky’s style and voice.

Accompanying his comment with a meme of Sabinus, an X user, @Nwafresh posted, “From brotherhood to prisonhood”.

Credo wrote, “Dear EFCC this may not concern y’all but when you are done with mutilation crime, kindly extend your investigation into how he acquired yansh and Breast.”

“As much as I want Bobrisky to get interrogated by police but it isn’t an issue like this at all, if you are arresting him for spraying money at an event then everyone here must be located and arrested too because this is even worse,” Omotayo said, posting a video where some Nigerians were seen spraying the naira.
