Kwara Empowers Health Officers with Laptops for Enhanced Service Delivery

In a bid to bolster healthcare service delivery, the Kwara State Government, through the Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency, has distributed laptops to all sixteen Monitoring and Evaluation Local Government Area Officers across the state.

Addressing stakeholders at a meeting in Ilorin, the state capital, Dr. Nusirat Elelu, the Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency, highlighted the importance of quarterly meetings for orienting new Heads of Departments and addressing challenges in primary healthcare activities.

Elelu emphasized the significance of equipping Monitoring and Evaluation Officers with necessary tools to improve service delivery, praising their collective efforts in the recent successful Polio Outbreak Response Campaign.

She urged effective supervisory plans by Local Government Areas’ teams and emphasized the need for continued support for nutrition programs, particularly in  Local Government Areas like Moro, Asa, Baruten, and Kaiama.
