In a surprising turn of events, Pastor Kelvin Okafor, the General Overseer of Jesus Divine Solution and Deliverance Outreach in Arab Road, Abuja, has reportedly married Mrs. Chinenye Jessica Nwaneri, the Women’s Leader of his church, in a discreet ceremony held at a hotel in Owerri, Imo State.

The clandestine traditional marriage, which took place on Saturday, June 22, was shrouded in secrecy as Pastor Okafor allegedly sought to avoid media scrutiny due to his existing marriage to Mrs. Chidiebere Okafor of 17 years, with whom he shares four children.

According to sources close to the situation, guests at the ceremony were instructed not to take photos or videos, but an undercover reporter managed to witness the event. It is reported that Pastor Okafor’s first wife remains unaware of his remarriage, highlighting the covert nature of the ceremony and the ensuing controversy within the congregation.

Adding to the controversy, Mrs. Nwaneri, now Pastor Okafor’s new wife, holds the position of an Ordained Elder within the church and is well aware of the pastor’s legal marital status with Mrs. Chidiebere Okafor.

The situation has sparked debate and concern among church members and the public alike, questioning the pastor’s moral and ethical conduct in light of his religious position and longstanding marriage.

As the community reacts to this development, Pastor Okafor and his new wife have yet to publicly address the situation, leaving many unanswered questions about the future of his ministry and personal life.
